A pendulum is a very useful tool in the curious spiritual communication. When used in conjunction with a card that can be used for dowsing and divination. Can be used for:
- Provide yes / no responses and answers to questions. This is similar to muscle testing or applied kinesiology.
- Give more precise answers to questions such as degree, intensity, or percentage.
There are commercial pendulums available in the market. Usually, you can buy in shops dealing with metaphysical or new age stuff. These stores are however very rare and can be quite difficult to find. Alternatively, clocks can be ordered online sites selling them.
This article tries to make a "do it yourself (DIY) pendulum dowsing. If you want save money or commercial pendulums are not available to you, you can choose to make one yourself.
In fact, a watch is not so difficult. Always we can find substitutes for different parts of a pendulum commercially manufactured. The parties shall replace the following:
- The Bob is the weight at the end bottom of a pendulum.
- The chain linking hands with the pendulum of Bob.
For the pendulum Bob, we can use any object that reasonably weighted. I personally use the arrow-shaped pendants. In fact, small fishing weights can also be used. Although I prefer more weight earrings fishing because they are more attractive than the second. Pendants can be purchased at the store of fashion accessories. As for fishing weights, can be found on the main Los department stores and shops selling fishing equipment.
For the chain, which can be bought at accessory shops selling fashion necklaces and chains. The metals are preferable. The string length should not exceed one foot. In my opinion, 1 / 2-3 / 4 of a foot is quite ideal.
Once we have the parts, all we need is collected. At the top suspension or fishing weight is usually a loop or ring. We plug one end of the chain through the ring (or loop) to the tip of the mass pendulum (which may be a pendant or fishing weight).
Normally, most chains are composed of several small metal rings. To mount the pendulum may have to look into opening a metal rings (at one end of the string) and insert the loop / Eye of the pendulum bob through it. After So we have to adjust the metal ring (chain) to its first position loop closed. A tip pliers is much more suited to these work fine.
