
Welcome to Audio File Formats 101! If you use a computer to hear music you've had some experience dealing with MP3 and WAV files before. And if you've spent some time on the computer or audio editing, you've probably already dealt with many other audio file formats. As AIFF, WMA, OGG, etc. Where is the problem with all these different forms of digital audio?
1. WAV - Although WAV files can be compressed, most WAV files usually consist of uncompressed audio, also called lossless audio files.
